THE LAW OF THE ONE
God is the creator and the substance being created. God is not only outside of creation, directing; He is also within creation, being acted upon. He is the material out of which the manifest and the un-manifest realities are born. God is everywhere present, everywhere intelligent, and everywhere powerful. There is nowhere that God is not.
Using the Law of the One takes you beyond the duality of good and evil. It is based on your recognition that "The Father and I are one." Jesus, a great spiritual teacher, used this law to perform the miracles of His ministry. He taught this understanding when He said, "I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you."
Most of the world's belief paradigms are based on the core belief in separation. There is me and there is other than me. There are good forces in the world to help me, and there are evil forces that can hurt me. I must be careful because something outside of me can get me, be it germs, criminals, or wild animals.
In these belief systems, when I request something in prayer, I am praying to God who is outside of me. It is my desire I am requesting and my ability I am using to ask that this be done for me. There are things outside of myself which can keep my desires from being met.
To soar through life with power and grace, it is important to use the force of the Law of the One to create the reality of your choice. When you make a choice about what you want to have happen in your life, you must stand behind that decree with all your power.
You must take a firm, unshakable, determined stand. To do this, you must know beyond a doubt that it is God desiring, God feeling, God knowing, God manifesting, and God controlling everything about it. There is only God!
When you stand in the recognition of your True Identity, you are one with God; therefore, it is God who is desiring your request. In your True Identity, you are using the attributes of God to visualize and affirm the results you want to manifest.
Understanding there is only God, you can know that it is God who does the work to bring your desire into reality. God is the power acting; He is the wisdom directing; and He is the substance being acted upon. There is nothing to stand in the way of your request being fulfilled. There is nothing to fear. There is only God.
If you choose to acknowledge a power other than God, you are negating the energy of the Law of the One. This is an intentional choice because you are free every moment to think whatever you desire. You can turn your attention to the duality of other than God and become a victim, or you can focus your awareness on the Oneness and experience success.
Remember, you are the Self Consciousness of God focused in this dimension. You are the creator localized to design and create perfection in your world and place in the universe. You must choose what you want to experience in your life, then, you can align yourself with all the forces of the One to bring that choice into reality. When you are aligned to the Law of the One, there is nothing to stop the flow of all the power of the universe into the fulfillment of your desire.
Jesus said that if we do not doubt, we can have whatever we are requesting in prayer. I have often wondered how one can keep from doubting. I wanted to believe God would answer my prayer, but how could I be sure.
There were so many variables involved in the fulfilling of my desire. What if it wasn't His will? What if something terrible happened before He answered my prayer? What if the medicine did not work? What if the operation failed?
Well, you can see what I mean. There are a thousand reasons why my prayer might not be answered. How could I totally believe when there were so many things that might happen that would block the answer to my prayer. These fears and doubts were based on my belief in separation or duality.
The most fundamental core belief we all hold is in the oneness of life or in separation. I affectionately refer to these two core beliefs as the "oneness" or the "twoness."
If I am standing on the belief in oneness, there is absolutely nothing to fear. I am able to believe and not doubt. If I am focused on the twoness, I am filled with doubt and unbelief. There is always something out there that is greater than me that might hurt me and block my desires.
When I am standing in the oneness, I know there is only God. My desires are God's desires. My ability to visualize or pray is God's ability.The power used to fulfill my request is the power of God. Every person, place or thing involved with my desire is part of God; therefore, nothing can keep my desire from manifesting. In the oneness, I can cast out all doubt and fear.
Adopting the belief in the One is not easy to do. If your philosophy of life includes a belief in evil, then you can still develop the ability to not doubt but believe.
You must focus on the promise that "greater is He that is within me than He that is within the world." If you can not let go of the twoness, then focus on the belief that God is greater, more powerful, than anything outside of you which might block your answer to pray.
Focus your attention on the power of God and not on the outside forces. God is greater than cancer. God is greater than poverty. God is greater than a hurricane. There is nothing more powerful than God. If God be for me, then who can be against me.
It takes an effort on your part to develop the perspective of oneness but it is well worth the time and energy required.
